Urban Air looking for space to open trampoline park in Arlington

Another trampoline park chain is seeking to open a location in Arlington.

Urban Air Adventure Park has announced plans to open somewhere in the county, though “they don’t have a specific site locked down yet,” a spokesperson told ARLnow. Meanwhile, another company, SkyZone, is still looking for a place to open a local trampoline park after announcing similar plans in March 2024.

When are the trampolines coming?

  • Since Urban Air’s franchise deal was only recently signed, an opening date hasn’t been confirmed, a spokesperson said.
  • Additionally, while SkyZone’s Arlington location is listed as “coming soon” online, the timeline remains undetermined. A spokesperson for that company said that “the franchisees are on the lookout for real estate in the market.”
  • Other Urban Air locations are slated to open in Sterling and D.C., the company said in a release last week.

Urban Air offers various kid-centric activities

  • Billing itself as “more than just your average trampoline park,” Urban Air features dodgeball courts, bumper cars, laser tag, obstacle and ropes courses and indoor ziplines at some locations.
  • Each park also comes with a fast-casual cafe.
  • “Our focus is on creating destinations where more families throughout Virginia can celebrate major milestones and make lasting memories,” Brand President Tim Sharp said.
