Vietnamese coffee shop coming to Lee Harrison Shopping Center

A long-vacant storefront in the Lee Harrison Shopping Center will soon welcome its first tenant in over three years.

Cup of Bliss, a Vietnamese-inspired coffee shop, has finalized a lease at 2439 N. Harrison Street, a spokesperson for property manager AJ Dwoskin & Associates announced.

The offerings will blend “influences from Vietnamese coffee culture with high-quality espresso, along with pastries and house-made desserts.”

“The goal is to create a warm neighborhood café setting that works for both quick visits and longer stays,” the spokesperson said.

Not much more is known about the new tenant, as the cafe appears to be the brand’s first location. Cup of Bliss did not respond to a request for comment.

The 1,760-square-foot space has been mostly vacant since 2022, when an urgent care in the retail bay departed for a larger space. A Crumbl Cookies franchise had been planned for the space as recently as 2024, but that project never came to fruition.

Cup of Bliss would be the only cafe in the shopping center, though it will likely compete with nearby Duck Donuts and Chesapeake Bagel Bakery for the early-morning crowd.
