Arlington’s newest restaurant and bar offers daily specials and half-y hour deals

A Richmond-based sports bar known for its game-day atmosphere and made-from-scratch menu has officially opened in Arlington.

Wood & Iron Gameday recently opened its newest location at 3401 N Fairfax Dr, Arlington, VA 22201, bringing daily food specials, drink deals, weekend brunch, and a late-night menu to the Ballston neighborhood.

The restaurant is known for its house-made menu and crowd-favorite appetizers like its hand-rolled cheesesteak egg rolls, along with a lineup of daily dine-in food specials:

  • Monday: 50% off traditional smoked wings (orders of 5)
  • Tuesday: 50% off the featured tacos & a side (no modifications)
  • Wednesday: 50% off the featured burger & a side (no modifications)
  • Thursday: 50% off the chicken sandwich & a side
  • Saturday & Sunday: Brunch from 10 AM – 2 PM

Guests can also take advantage of Wood & Iron’s “Half-y Hour” drink specials, offered Monday through Friday from 2–7 PM (excluding select gamedays and holidays). Deals include 50% off craft drafts, specialty cocktails, crushes, smashes, house glasses of wine, and well liquor, plus $1 off domestic drafts and bottles.

Weekend brunch also features a Brunch Half-y Hour from 10 AM – 12 PM on Saturdays and Sundays, with 50% off crushes and smashes.

For late-night crowds, Wood & Iron offers a late-night menu starting at 10 PM, making it a go-to spot for post-game bites, late dinners, and drinks with friends.

With wall-to-wall TVs, daily food specials, and drink deals throughout the week, the new location is designed to be a go-to gathering spot for Arlington sports fans, brunch crowds, and neighborhood regulars alike.
