A three-vehicle crash led to a minivan striking the side of a house in the Westover area.
The crash happened around 8 a.m. Friday at the intersection of 22nd Street N. and N. Madison Street.
“The minivan crashed through a fence before hitting the corner of the garage and front steps of the house,” a tipster tells ARLnow. “The homeowner assisted the driver of the minivan before ACPD and ACFD personnel arrived. The driver of the minivan was transported by ambulance with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.”
No serious injuries were reported among the other vehicle occupants. The home did not appear to be significantly damaged.
The crash happened during rainy weather, which is expected to persist for much of the Memorial Day weekend.
