For real-time headlines and breaking news, our longtime Twitter/X account is probably still the way to go. Unfortunately, while Threads may be Twitter-like, its algorithm seems to frown upon news and local-specific content, making the timely unearthing of breaking ARLnow headlines very hit or miss.
