All flights canceled today at Reagan National due to snow

All flights at Reagan National Airport have been canceled today (Sunday) due to the winter storm.

Travelers are advised to check with their airlines to confirm or rebook, the airport announced earlier this morning.

“Airlines have canceled all flights at the airport today,” Reagan National wrote around 10 a.m. “The airport snow team is actively clearing snow from the airfield. Weather conditions are expected to remain treacherous for much of the day.”

Limited airport concessions are open in each terminal, focusing on food and travel essentials. Terminals are expected to be open tomorrow.

Snow began around midnight at DCA. Airlines have canceled all flights at the airport today. The airport snow team is actively clearing snow from the airfield. Weather conditions are expected to remain treacherous for much of the day.

  • Check with your airline to confirm or rebook. During inclement weather events, most airlines waive change fees. Use your airline’s website, app, chat function or customer service contact to make changes from the comfort of your home or hotel.
  • TSA screening is open for employees and ticketed passengers.
  • Limited airport concessions are open in each terminal – focusing on food and travel essentials.
  • Check local road conditions before driving.
  • Parking facilities are open. Check space availability here. Shuttle buses to/from Economy are operating on-demand as customers appear at the terminal or in the lot.
  • The airport Metrorail station is above-ground. Significant snow could prompt above-ground rail service to be suspended.
