Dunkin’ closes on Columbia Pike, leaving a void at gas station

A convenience store on Columbia Pike has been left with a donut hole — and not the good kind.

Dunkin’ has cleared out of its longtime location at 3100 Columbia Pike, leaving a retail void in one half of the storefront at the Shell gas station.

Dunkin’ did not respond to a request for comment, but the closure appears to be recent. Multiple tipsters contacted ARLnow about the establishment’s departure over the last few days.

This location had been around for many years. It’s visible in the very first Google street view photo of the address in 2007.

Dunkin’ continues to operate six other locations elsewhere Arlington, not counting those at Reagan National Airport. The nearest to this spot is at 1413 S. Fern Street in Pentagon City.
