A man has been hospitalized after crashing while riding a scooter this morning.
The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. on Washington Blvd at 19th Road N., near Westover. The man reportedly fell off the scooter while riding but there was no vehicle involved. It happened near an uneven section of road that is apparently being repaved.
With the Arlington School Board caucus now underway, several Democratic candidates have released introduction videos.
Local Democrats have until May 11 to vote in this year’s caucus, determining which of the four candidates currently running for School Board will receive the party’s endorsement for two open seats.
A national indoor cycling competition is returning to Crystal City next weekend.
A full day of competitive and just-for-fun races is planned for Saturday, May 11 at the 2024 Garage Racing National Championships. Taking place in a parking garage at 201 12th Street S., the race kicks off with junior championships at 11 a.m. and closes with the always-wacky “anything goes” race at 6:20 p.m.
