Arlington’s Snow Survivor, Hanging on Since December

by ARLnow.com January 7, 2011 at 11:22 am 2,134 11 Comments

Believe it or not, there’s still a remnant of the 2 to 3 inches of snow we got on Dec. 16 hanging around. This dirty snow pile can be found in the median on George Mason Drive near Virginia Hospital Center.

The pile may soon grow a bit. Forecasters are calling for a dusting to an inch of snow overnight.

    Slow news day?

    Must be a shady spot.

This is the fault of Chris Zimmerman, the Arlington County zoning enforcement folks, and immigrants. Oh, and don’t forget the pedestrians. Selfish twits, all of ’em.

bonus 5 for FINALLY seeing the light. 🙂

You forgot to mention cyclists. And drivers. Also, METRO.

I am certain this is the fault of a roving band of brown flip-flop wearing yuppies! Damn gentrification!

    • Absolutely, MB! 😀

    • Maria

Don’t forget the panhandlers, homeless people, and Clarendon drunkards!

  • Ali

Someone alert the snow removal hotline. It’s blocking a square foot of grass from being able to function!

  • Novaqt

Is someone getting fined for not removing w/in 48 hrs.?

  • South Arlington

Speaking of survivors still hanging on since November, there is STILL a Patrick Murphy sign up on Washington Blvd. directly in front of you when you exit 50 East towards Pentagon City.
