This week’s Arlington Pet of the Week is Simon, aka Bushnamumu, a tabby cat whose greatest skill is “being super duper cute.”
Here’s what Simon had to say about himself, as relayed by owner Alicia:
Hello, my name is Simon but I prefer to go by Bushnamumu (my owners call me that). I am a shorthair tabby cat with white fur and little stripes on my head! I love to play with my laser pointer and my various toys. But, my favorite activity is being super duper cute.
I was adopted fairly recently. When I was adopted from the shelter I was so small and underfed. It was so tragic. My life at the shelter was not ideal. But then one day i found my family. They took care of me and still do. They fed me and gave me love so slowly but surely I gained some weight and learned how to play! I even started to meow.
I prefer being indoors but lately I have taken the time to explore outside. I am a friendly and lovely cat! Thank you so much for considering me for Arlington’s Pet of the Week.
