Classic Italian food with comfy outdoor seating in the heart of Clarendon
1.5 blocks from Clarendon Metro
Visit Faccia Luna and you’ll feel like you’ve stepped right into your grandmother’s kitchen. Friendly staff that make you feel like part of the family, delicious homemade Italian food, and a great atmosphere make Faccia Luna a must-eat stop on any Clarendon food tour.
Cutest Meaty Morsel: Meatball Sliders, smothered in a tangy marinara that bites so nice. These minis make a great appetizer for sharing.
Straight from Grandma’s Kitchen: Sliders didn’t quite fill you up? Order the Agnolotti con Mozzarella, a house-made ravioli stuffed with mozzarella cheese and sun-dried tomato, served in a delicious basil pesto cream sauce.
Can’t Miss: You simply can’t go wrong with ANY of Faccia Luna’s signature pizzas. Try the Via Toscana pizza with a crispy crust, big round slices of gouda (plus FOUR other cheeses), caramelized onions and prosciutto. Or, if you’re feeling like you’re in the mood for some brunch, check out their Breakfast Pizza. This white pizza with fried egg, cheese, and a delicious garlicky crust is only served on the weekends – so don’t worry, you won’t be tempted to play hooky and grab a slice during the week.
A Light Lunch: If you’re in the mood for something a little lighter, try out the Fontina Chicken Sandwich. Perfectly charred chicken is paired with a citrusy aioli and topped with Fontina cheese to create the perfect melted delight.
Sweet Treat: Finish the meal with some homemade rich chocolate Belgian Mousse. Enough said, now head to bed!
