The National Association of Home Builders just released the 2021 edition of its “What Home Buyers Really Want” report. Ranking in the top five of its most wanted list are: A laundry room, exterior lighting, ceiling fan, Energy Star-rated windows and a patio. Of course these are national statistics and what buyers may want here in Arlington County and the broader D.C. area may be slightly different and can certainly vary on a case-by-case basis.
