Now that we’re in the second half of the year, how are things shaping up?
Well, if the latest BrightMLS T3 Home Demand Index is any indicator, we’re in for a continued hot market through the end of the year.
According to the June 2021 report, buyer demand remains high, with the strongest interest being for single-family homes priced above $950,000 and higher priced condos. Inventory of homes for sale remains low, with just a 0.7 months supply for mid-priced single-family homes and a 2.7 months supply for higher-priced condos.
Compared to last year, the Home Demand Index says demand has increased 20.5% year over year.

- 1701 N. Randolph Street, 22207 — NOW: $749,900 (Reduced $49,000 on 7/2)
- 3509 S. Stafford Street #B, 22206 — NOW: $585,000 (Reduced $10,000 on 7/1)
- 4684 26th Street S. #B, 22206 — NOW: $374,900 (Reduced $50,000 on 7/1)
