Now that we’re in the second half of the year, how are things shaping up?

Well, if the latest BrightMLS T3 Home Demand Index is any indicator, we’re in for a continued hot market through the end of the year.

According to the June 2021 report, buyer demand remains high, with the strongest interest being for single-family homes priced above $950,000 and higher priced condos. Inventory of homes for sale remains low, with just a 0.7 months supply for mid-priced single-family homes and a 2.7 months supply for higher-priced condos.

Compared to last year, the Home Demand Index says demand has increased 20.5% year over year.

So, what does this mean for the Average Joe?

Amid such a sizzling market, it has never been more important to have a dedicated team advocating on your behalf. When you’re ready to navigate today’s market, the time-tested team at Arlington Realty, Inc. has your back and is ready to roll.

Until then, here are this week’s Just Reduced numbers:

As of July 5, there are 155 detached homes, 51 townhouses and 348 condos for sale throughout Arlington County. In total, 45 homes experienced a price reduction in the past week:
