Privai Spa and Salon at the Westpost shopping center in Pentagon City appears to have closed its doors.

ARLnow received a tip about the spa (1101 S. Joyce Street) closing last week. The doors were locked during what should have been business hours when ARLnow stopped by this week, though there are no signs announcing the closure and the lights remained on.

An employee at the Pike and Rose location of Privai confirmed the closure in a brief phone call, but declined to provide their name.

The Westpost location page on the Privai website has been deleted and it is listed as “permanently closed” on Google.

The “botanical-based” spa and salon was the first of its kind in Arlington and its reason for closing is unknown. The business initially opened its doors at Westpost in 2021 along with a slew of other businesses. The 4,127 square foot facility offered a variety of wellness services including therapeutic body treatments, facials, professional salon services and guided meditations.

Privai had a number of other listed Northern Virginia locations that also appear to be closed, with the Pike and Rose location in Bethesda the only remaining local outpost. The other locations listed on the Privai website are both in Miami.

Prior to Privai, Westpost — previously known as Pentagon Row — was home to an Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa.
