Amazon’s HQ2 Community Day scheduled for this weekend has been postponed.

Originally slated to run from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, parts of the event would fall in the window of an Excessive Heat Watch.

Temperatures are expected to cross the 90-degree threshold by 10 a.m. and remain above 90 until 9 p.m. or later, according to forecasters. Heat index values up to 110 are possible.

The event, which was to be held at Metropolitan Park in Pentagon City, would have featured more than 50 farmers market vendors, lawn games, a live DJ and more outdoor activities.

A new date for the event has yet to be announced.
