Johns Hopkins clinic slated to open in Ballston Quarter next month

Johns Hopkins Medicine plans to open a new medical clinic in Ballston.

Located in the Ballston Quarter at 4102 Wilson Blvd, the “multidisciplinary” clinic is expected to open by Tuesday, Nov. 19 with 33 exam rooms.

It will offer primary care and specialties will include cardiology, ophthalmology, gynecology and ear, nose and throat medicine, spokesperson Melissa Roos told ARLnow. Surgical specialists will also be trained in cancer treatment and colorectal health.

Planned services in the 28,000-square-foot space include stress tests, echocardiograms and blood collections as well as minor procedures.

Patients are expected to begin booking appointments in coming weeks. The new office, located above Union Kitchen, will be accessible through the Ballston Quarter Pedestrian Bridge or through a street-level entrance along Wilson Blvd.

Johns Hopkins has several other locations in the region, including Sibley Memorial Hospital in D.C., Suburban Hospital in Bethesda and a Johns Hopkins Community Physicians practice in McLean.

“This allows patients in the area to receive quality Johns Hopkins care in the communities where they live.” Roos said.
