Arlington County police are investigating a shooting with multiple teen victims along Columbia Pike on Halloween night.
Numerous gunshots were heard around 10:45 p.m. Thursday. Police quickly responded to the intersection of the Pike and S. Taylor Street and found three people shot, according to scanner traffic, possibly as a result of two groups of people shooting at each other from across the street.
A large emergency response remained on scene for much of the night. Police — including a police helicopter — searched an area around the scene for several suspects while officers also interviewed witnesses.
ACPD said two of the victims were in critical condition while the third has serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
As of Friday morning, there were no reports of arrests being made. The victims are reportedly all teens and the two with life-threatening injuries remain in critical condition.
Police are encouraging anyone with photos or video related to the shooting to contact them.

The Arlington County Police Department’s Homicide/Robbery Unit is investigating a shooting that occurred along Columbia Pike on the evening of October 31, 2024.
At approximately 10:48 p.m., police were dispatched to the 4300 block of Columbia Pike for the report of a shooting. Responding officers located three victims in the area suffering from gunshot wounds and began lifesaving measures. The victims, three juvenile males in their teens, were transported to area hospitals. Two victims are in critical condition and one has serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances that preceded the shooting. Anyone with videos, photos, or other media that may assist this ongoing investigation is asked to upload media using this link. Shots were fired near the same intersection nearly three weeks ago, but no injuries were reported then.
