Police are searching for suspects following a shooting in Green Valley yesterday (Wednesday) that left a man injured.
The shooting took place in the area of S. Lowell Street and S. Lincoln Street shortly before midnight.

A deadline to release footage of a fatal Columbia Pike police shooting came and went on Friday, prompting criticisms at this weekend’s County Board meeting.
County Manager Mark Schwartz said on Saturday that he anticipates body-worn camera footage from the May incident will be released to the public by later this week. That did not satisfy a number of County Board members and others, who had expected footage in advance of the meeting.

Arlington’s first deer cull resulted in 26 deer being shot and removed from local parks, despite challenging winter conditions.

Police were dispatched to an apartment on the 2500 block of S. Adams Street shortly before 9:45 p.m. for a report of a man shot in the leg. Arriving officers reported that there were several people inside the apartment, who were cooperative as police started the investigation.
