A man was carjacked Friday night in the Barcroft neighborhood.
The suspects include at least one person the victim knows, according to Arlington County police. The car was later found abandoned in the Rosslyn area.

CARJACKING, 2024-11150254, 9th Street S. at S. Buchanan Street. At approximately 11:28 p.m. on November 15, police were dispatched to the report of trouble unknown. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim entered his parked vehicle with Suspect One, who is known to him, and Suspect Two. While inside the vehicle, the suspects assaulted the victim before removing him from the vehicle and fleeing the scene in the stolen vehicle. The victim sustained serious, non-life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital. Later in the evening, the stolen vehicle was recovered in the area of 19th Street N. and N. Ode Street. The investigation into the circumstances of the incident is ongoing.
This was at least the tenth reported carjacking in Arlington so far this year, after 18 were reported last year.
Also in the crime report, a man pulled a gun on another driver at a Pentagon City parking garage Friday night, after the latter honked her horn at him.

BRANDISHING, 2024-11150221, 700 block of Army Navy Drive. At approximately 9:28 p.m. on November 15, police were dispatched to the report of a brandishing. It was determined the female victim was exiting a parking garage in her vehicle when she honked at a vehicle blocking the exit. The driver of the vehicle exited, made threatening statements towards the victim and brandished what appeared to be a firearm. The victim then left the scene. No injuries were reported.
