Atlas Brew Works opens new restaurant and bar at DCA

A local brewery has opened a new bar and restaurant at Reagan National Airport.

Atlas Brew Works opened today (Tuesday) along the airport’s B gates, serving food, drafts and to-go beer out of a 2,425-square-foot space.

“We love that DMV locals and visitors alike are able to enjoy our craft beer at DCA, and being in an airport means we’ll be gaining new fans of Atlas each day,” Atlas’ founder and CEO Justin Cox told ARLnow.

The business is known for its 100% solar-powered craft brew facility in D.C.’s Ivy City neighborhood — the first of its kind in the city.

The new spot plans to serve two seasonal, rotating drafts, in addition to Atlas’ six “core beers,” including the award-winning Silent Neighbor Stout. The stout recently won bronze at the U.S. Open Beer Championship and gold at the World Beer Cup in 2023.

The location will offer breakfast from 5-10 a.m. each day, with options including Belgian waffles, breakfast sandwiches, chicken and waffles, and French toast. It also serves American lunch and dinner offerings like salads, sandwiches, wings and pizza, plus a kids menu.

The restaurant will close at 9 p.m. each day, or 30 minutes past the concourse area’s last flight of the day.

This is Atlas’ fourth location, following two taprooms in D.C. and a third in Alexandria. The brewery also has its sights set on a fifth location in D.C.’s Bridge District neighborhood, expected to open sometime in 2025.

Atlas Brew Works shares an opening day at Reagan National Airport with celebrity chef José Andrés’ new Capitol One Landing lounge, located near Concourse D.
