Over a dozen restaurants in Arlington and Falls Church are slated to participate in Winter Restaurant Week, which returns Monday, Jan. 27 through Sunday, Feb. 2.
Hosted biannually by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington, participating businesses across the D.C. area will offer multi-course, prix-fixe menus, inviting diners to return to their favorite spots — or to try something new.
Some local restaurants that have published their Winter Restaurant Week menus are highlighted below.
Corso Italian
Deal: $25 for a three-course lunch or $40 for three-course dinner
- This restaurant’s featured dinner menu includes house-made pastas like oxtail ravioli and rigatoni with a walnut-ricotta pesto.
- Entree options include scallop risotto, porchetta with cannellini beans and Tuscan striploin steak.
- For dessert, choose between a hazelnut chocolate cheesecake with graham cracker crust, a fig leaf panna cotta custard or pistachio-topped cannolis.

Mussel Bar & Grille
Deal: $25 for a three-course lunch or $40 for a three-course dinner
- Mussels are the star of this limited-time menu, with spicy Thai curry, Bolognese and white wine sauce varieties, to name a few.
- Starters include crispy Brussels sprouts with bacon and Granny Smith apples at lunch. Crawfish pepperpot soup with Fresno chiles is available at lunch and dinner.
- Pistachio creme brulee, pumpkin cheesecake with cranberry compote and salted caramel pot de creme are available for a sweet treat.

SER Restaurant
Deal: $25 for a three-course lunch or $40 for a three-course dinner. Optional Spanish wine pairings are available at $25 per person.
- The casual, family-owned restaurant SER offers a taste of Spanish cuisine in Ballston.
- Appetizers include a zucchini cream with croutons, yogurt-dressed kale and arugula salad and chorizo penne pasta.
- Platos principales, or second courses, include tuna loin with tomato sauce and chicken smothered in garlic and wine sauce.
