A pair of new apartment buildings have opened in Crystal City, with plans for a boxing gym and cafe on the ground floor.
Hazel and Azure at National Landing, located at 3030 and 3130 S. Potomac Avenue, offer a total of 491 apartments ranging from studios to three-bedroom homes.
Developer ZOM Living announced their opening on Tuesday — along with plans for an Urban Boxing, a Coffee Republic and an unnamed third retail tenant.
“The completion of Hazel & Azure at National Landing will meet the demand for highly amenitized, quality rental apartments and prominent retail services that will serve residents and the surrounding community of National Landing and Arlington County,” ZOM Living CEO Greg West said in a press release.
“With the rapidly expanding employment base and vast retail offerings, National Landing is becoming one of DC Metro’s most sought-after areas and we are proud to celebrate the opening of our third community in this county at a time when the neighborhood is continuing to thrive.”
Rents at Hazel range from $2,180 to $7,010 a month, while Azure rents are $2,294 to $8,805, according to Apartments.com.
Amenities include a rooftop pool, an outdoor deck and grilling area, a clubroom, a fireplace, a “fitness and wellness spa,” coworking spaces with private offices, a “self-serve resident market” and a “pet spa.” The smallest apartment is 521 square feet and the largest is 2,206 square feet.
Apartments come with a washer and dryer, hardwood flooring and floor-to-ceiling windows, and most have private balconies or terraces.
Coffee Republic, coming to the ground floor of the Azure tower, promises “fine quality coffee, beer, wine, and espresso martini flights along with a light food menu.”
This will be the chain’s first Arlington spot, but it has other locations in D.C. as well as in Maryland and North Carolina. The Crystal City location is listed as “coming soon” on the cafe’s website.
Urban Boxing, meanwhile, has another location in Virginia Square that advertises classes in boxing, kickboxing, mixed martial arts, muay thai, jiu-jitsu, sparring and yoga.
ZOM Living “is in the process of signing a third tenant” for a 2,201-square-foot space at the Azure tower, according to the press release.
