Acme Pie Co. has reopened for business in a new Columbia Pike storefront, with the same pinball machines and a new breakfast menu.
The longtime pie shop recently completed the move from 2803 Columbia Pike to 2406 Columbia Pike, where the Columbia Pike Deli closed earlier this year.
Owner Sol Schott said he relocated due to redevelopment plans at his old address, though recently those plans were reportedly canceled.
Acme Pie now sells breakfast until 10 a.m.
- A $10 breakfast deal includes a ham, egg and cheese sandwich on a homemade biscuit with a cup of coffee. It can be made without the ham, Schott added.
- Schott is also offering a bacon and ramp quiche, available through this weekend.
- These are in addition, of course, to Acme’s usual lineup of sweet treats and pies, like blueberry and lemon curd and pecan chocolate maple.
‘The Pinball Basement’ lives on
- The Arlington-based arcade debuted at Acme’s previous location in early 2024, with nine pinball machines.
- It has since followed Acme for the relocation. Five themed machines range from “Deadpool” to “Elvira: Mistress of the Dark.”
- Schott hopes to host a total of seven machines “in the near future.”
The new shop’s hours are 7 a.m.-10 a.m. Monday through Friday, 3 p.m.-9 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday.
