National donut franchise Duck Donuts is coming to the Pentagon City mall.
A sign in the food court announces the North Carolina-founded donut shop is “coming soon” to the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City. The shop is known for its inventive donut flavors, from “PB&J” to lemon coconut.
It’s opening on the Metro level
- Seasonal donuts include cookie butter cream and vanilla-coconut caramel delight. The business also sells milkshakes, ice cream and donut egg sandwiches.
- The shop’s confections are available to order by the dozen and half-dozen.
- An information kiosk places the donut shop next to Auntie Annie’s Pretzels.
It will be Arlington’s second Duck Donuts
- Its first outpost in the county opened 10 years ago at the Lee Harrison Shopping Center.
- The franchise has other locations throughout Northern Virginia, including in Fairfax City and Springfield.
