A weeklong marathon of Christmas classics is taking over the big screen at Arlington Drafthouse starting tomorrow (Wednesday).
Every day through Tuesday, Dec. 23, the theater at 2903 Columbia Pike will be screening hits that run the gamut from “It’s a Wonderful Life” to “Die Hard.”
A highlight is a “holiday movie festival” on Sunday, when the Drafthouse is screening “The Polar Express,” “Home Alone,” “Miracle on 34th Street,” “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” and “Krampus” back-to-back beginning at 1 p.m.
The week’s full schedule is below.
- Wednesday, Dec. 17: “Love Actually” (7 p.m.)
- Thursday, Dec. 18: “Die Hard” (7 p.m.)
- Friday, Dec. 19: “It’s a Wonderful Life” (7 p.m.), “Die Hard” (9:30 p.m.)
- Saturday, Dec. 20: “It’s a Wonderful Life” (11:30 a.m.), “Elf” (2:30 p.m.)
- Sunday, Dec. 21: Holiday Movie Festival
- Monday, Dec. 22: “It’s a Wonderful Life” (7 p.m.)
- Tuesday, Dec. 23: “Elf” (4 p.m.), “It’s a Wonderful Life” (7 p.m.), “Die Hard” (9:30 p.m.)
Tickets for all showings, including the movie festival, are $10 for adults and $5 for children aged 13 and under. They’re available online or at the box office.
