A full slate of classic cover bands from Elvis to ABBA is coming to Falls Church between now and the new year, with more to come in 2026.
State Theatre (220 N. Washington Street) will host more than a dozen tribute acts between now and the end of March, according to the current schedule.
A holiday tribute to the King of Rock will take to the stage this weekend, with acts honoring Journey, Rush and ABBA rounding out the calendar year.
- Dec. 19: Jesse Garron’s “A Holiday Tribute to Elvis Presley”
- Dec. 20: Trial by Fire: Tribute to Journey
- Dec. 26: The Rush Experience
- Dec. 27: Mamma Mania! – NYC’s Premier ABBA Tribute
- Dec. 31: NYE with The Legwarmers (1980s Tribute)
The first month of 2026 will see three different acts spanning three different genres: country, grunge and alternative.
- Jan. 9: Uncaged – Zac Brown Tribute
- Jan. 10: Nirvani – A Nirvana Tribute Experience (feat. the Siamese Dreamers, a Smashing Pumpkins tribute)
- Jan. 23: The Dave Matthews Tribute Band
February’s two shows will wind back the clock, highlighting two of the most mainstream acts of the 1970s.
- Feb. 6: ZOSO – The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience
- Feb. 7: Captain Mike & The Shipwrecked – A Premier Jimmy Buffett Tribute
The State Theatre’s current schedule also features three acts in March, including a tribute to perhaps the most influential country rocker in music history.
- March 6: Nightrain: The Guns N’ Roses Tribute Experience
- March 20: Johnny Folsom 4: Tribute to Johnny Cash
- March 21: The Stranger: A Tribute to Billy Joel
