A rapidly expanding brand offering prepared meal deliveries is launching in Arlington and Falls Church in the new year.
Feast & Fettle will begin working with customers in and around Arlington starting on Jan. 3, selling a rotating list of entrees, plus sides and options for kids.
“This is part of our broader growth into the Mid-Atlantic region,” a member services specialist told ARLnow, “and we’re excited to bring our fresh, chef-prepared meals to households in Northern Virginia.”
Feast & Fettle’s offerings include entrees ranging from grilled chicken breast and seared salmon to pork saltimbocca with marsala sauce and Tuscan baked shrimp.
On the side, diners can choose between options such as salads, mac and cheese and veggies like tomato-braised artichokes and roasted broccolini with lemon garlic butter. A kids menu includes chicken tenders, a mini naan-based pizza and a burger.
The expansion into Arlington comes nearly two months after the Rhode Island-based brand announced a new production facility in Elkridge, Maryland.
“As we expand into the DMV, our mission stays the same,” CEO Carlos Ventura said in a press release. “We’re here to deliver exceptional quality, operate with integrity and care for our members the same way we care for our team.”
Founded in 2016 by former nanny and private chef Maggie Mulvena Pearson, Feast & Fettle markets itself toward families who are too busy to shop and create a whole meal for dinner each day.
“Busy schedules often forced families to choose between quality and convenience,” the company’s website reads. “What they really needed was both.”
When signing up, customers share the number of mouths being fed and the number of meals needed each week. They can also add extras like breakfast items or kid snacks.
Though pricing depends on location, one person getting three meals and five sides per week in the brand’s hometown costs roughly $100.
