ACPD: Bed, couch stolen from Ballston home

Arlington County police are investigating a burglary of bulky items from a Ballston house.

The burglaries happened on two separate days over the past week, from an under-construction home on the 3400 block of 14th Street N., near Arlington Science Focus Elementary.

According to police, two men made off with a bed and a couch from the house, driving off in a black truck and — on the second occassion — a white van.

BURGLARY (Late), 2026-01130105, 3400 block of 14th Street N. On January 13, police received an online report for a late burglary. It was reported that on January 10, two male suspects made entry into the vacant, under construction residence, stole a bed and fled the scene in a vehicle described as a black truck. On January 11, two males made entry into the residence again, stole a couch and fled the scene in a vehicle described as a white van. There are no suspect descriptions. The investigation is ongoing.
