Dense Fog Advisory issued for Arlington

It’s a foggy morning in Arlington and across the D.C. area.

The fog and lack of visibility has prompted a Dense Fog Advisory from the National Weather Service. It’s in effect until 10 a.m., though some fog may persist beyond that.

DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4:25 A.M. TO 10 A.M. EST THURSDAY.

* WHAT…Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.

* WHERE…The District of Columbia. In Maryland, Prince Georges, Calvert, Charles, and St. Marys Counties. In Virginia, Arlington, Falls Church, and Alexandria.

* WHEN…Until 10 AM EST this morning.

* IMPACTS…Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
