Frost Advisory issued for Arlington

It’s going to be another cold night in Arlington.

A Frost Advisory has been issued for the area, following this morning’s Freeze Warning.

FROST ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TO 9 A.M. EDT THURSDAY.

* WHAT…Temperatures as low as 33 will result in frost formation, especially away from the urban centers and tidal waters.

* WHERE…Washington DC, and portions of central and southern Maryland, and central and northern Virginia.

* WHEN…From midnight tonight to 9 AM EDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
