Falls Church is introducing a pilot sip-and-stroll program this weekend in partnership with several local businesses downtown.
From 5-10 p.m. this Saturday, Little City Sips will allow residents to partake in alcoholic beverages on the go, while enjoying entertainment, a lively atmosphere and libations from local restaurants, available in branded cups.
The sip-and-stroll will be piloted around a section of W. Broad Street and Park Avenue. Ireland’s Four Provinces, Pho 88 and the new Stratford Garden are among nine restaurants expected to offer beverages during the event, while several others will permit guests to bring their drinks inside.
“Spend the evening sipping, shopping, strolling, and discovering everything that makes The Little City unique,” an event description reads. “Little City Sips brings together local restaurants, live music, small businesses, outdoor gathering spaces, and community energy for a fun-filled night.”
Justin Trawick will be performing at Mr. Brown’s Park from 6-8:30 p.m., while TUSK, a Fleetwood Mac tribute band, will perform at 8:30 p.m. at The State Theatre.
The area boundaries will be marked by signage at its main intersections, which serve as enter/exit points.

Alcoholic beverages from one participating restaurant will not be permitted inside another participating restaurant, and attendees should check businesses for a “Welcome” window cling before entering with a drink. A complete list of participating businesses is below.
