Police investigating gunfire in Glencarlyn neighborhood

Someone fired gunshots in the Glencarlyn neighborhood early this morning.

Arlington County police were dispatched to the area, near the entrance to Glencarlyn Park, shortly after 3 a.m., after people reported the sound of gunfire.

No property damage was found and no injuries were reported.

SHOTS FIRED, 2024-05210027, 300 block of S. Harrison Street. At approximately 3:13 a.m. on May 21, police were dispatched to the report of shots heard. Upon arrival, officers recovered evidence confirming several shots had been fired. No victims or property damage were reported. There is no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.
