These are some of the ‘best restaurants in Arlington,’ according to the Post

The Washington Post has published its latest assessment of Arlington’s dining landscape, including eight restaurants it considers to be among the best in the county.

The Post describes a dynamic restaurant scene that “ebbs and flows like the rest of the Washington region, depending on who’s dishing up something new and who’s willing to stretch their gustatory comfort zone.”

It also showcases Arlington’s culinary diversity, from what the paper calls “some of the fieriest flavors in the area” at Padaek to refined seafood at The Salt Line, which the critic notes has “everything but the water view” of its D.C. counterpart.

The Post’s roundup was published last week and features reviews from food critic Tom Sietsema, food writer Tim Carman and dining reporter Warren Rojas.

The eight restaurants featured are:

  • Padaek (2931 S. Glebe Road) — Laotian
  • Bostan Uyghur Cuisine (3911 Langston Blvd) — Uyghur
  • Ruthie’s All-Day (3411 5th Street S.) — Modern American
  • Our Mom Eugenia (4044 Campbell Ave) — Greek
  • Charga Grill (5151 Langston Blvd) — International Street Food
  • The Salt Line (4040 Wilson Blvd) — Seafood
  • Queen Mother’s Kitchen (1711 Crystal Drive) — Fried Chicken
  • King of Koshary (5515 Wilson Blvd) — Egyptian
