The bar at 2051 Wilson Blvd is the lone D.C.-area spot in the list, which was determined from more than 1,000 reader submissions.
“The credit really goes to all our passionate soccer fans who fill the pub on match days,” Ireland’s Four Courts owner Dave Cahill told ARLnow. “From early morning kickoffs to packed house finals, they create the energy that makes the Four Courts special.”
Four Courts, a stalwart in the Arlington sports bar scene, is uniquely positioned as perhaps the only local bar that keeps up with the rigors of an international soccer schedule — one that often features early morning starts and long days.
The Irish pub, which serves as a bar for supporters of seven different European teams, regularly broadcasts each of the games from the English Premier League.
Four Courts also brings a touch of that international flair to its menu, whether offering “Irish Favorites” menu items like shepherd’s pie and fish and chips, imported beers like Guinness and Kilkenny, and even hosting a Whiskey Club centered around the popular European spirit.
