The Lot in Clarendon, now under new ownership, has been re-christened Arlington Beer Garden.

However, craft beer fans will need to wait a bit longer for its debut. Yahya Yasini, one of the new owners, told ARLnow the beer garden at 3217 10th Street N. could open in about a month.


Greenheart Juice Shop is now open in Courthouse.

The shop held a grand opening Saturday for its new location in the former Rāko Coffee space at 2016 Wilson Blvd. It is the second Greenheart location in Arlington after an outpost opened in Ballston last year.


(Updated 3/14) A BurgerFi is opening in Rosslyn.

The Florida-based burger chain plans to hold a grand opening later this month, with free drinks and fries deals, for its new location at 1735 N. Lynn Street. It will be the franchise’s first foray into Arlington.


Trader Joe’s is seeking an alcohol license at a Crystal City location but is keeping mum about its plans.

The grocery store chain applied for the right to sell beer and wine at 2450 Crystal Drive on March 1 and is still awaiting approval, according to Virginia ABC.
