Arlington County Police are looking for the suspect in a robbery in the Bluemont neighborhood over the weekend.
The crime happened Saturday afternoon on the 800 block of N. Lexington Street, near Wilson Blvd and the W&OD Trail.
A masked man tried to abduct a woman outside of her residence along Wilson Blvd this past weekend, according to Arlington County Police.
The abduction attempt happened early Saturday morning on Wilson near the intersection with Patrick Henry Drive. The man tried to drag the woman away but she fought back and the attacker eventually fled.
Arlington Police say they received a call around 4 a.m. on Monday (Nov. 26) after someone saw a man “with his pants down exposing himself while walking” in the vicinity of the 3000 block of Washington Blvd. The area is home to several apartment buildings, a 7-Eleven convenience store and other shops and restaurants.
Officers then spotted a man “appearing disheveled and intoxicated” and arrested him. They subsequently identified him as 54-year-old Michael Tomlin, of no fixed address.

Naked Man at Va. Square Metro Station — A naked man walked into the Virginia Square Metro station during yesterday evening’s rush hour. Police quickly responded, took the man into custody and requested medics to the scene to evaluate him for a possible drug overdose. [Twitter]
Police were called to the Arlington Mill neighborhood, north of Columbia Pike, over the weekend for a report of a man standing around with his pants unzipped.
According to Arlington County Police, a resident of the 800 block of S. Frederick Street spotted the man standing in the woods, staring with him, around 6 p.m. on Saturday. The man’s pants, according to the resident, were unzipped.
The incident happened last Wednesday around 8 p.m. Police say the man “touched himself inappropriately” before fleeing the scene on a bike.

A man who was running around naked near Claremont Immersion School was taken into police custody this morning.
Police responded to S. Buchanan Street around 11:15 a.m. for a report of a man who was possibly suffering a mental health emergency in the neighborhood around the elementary school. Officers reportedly observed the man running down the middle of the street without clothes on and jumping atop at least one vehicle.
The robbery happened outside of a business near the intersection of Columbia Pike and S. Four Mile Run Drive. Police say a man walked up behind an armed security guard and stole his gun while pushing him to the ground. He then assaulted a second victim before running off “with an undisclosed amount of cash.”
During the incident one of the victims “recovered the firearm stolen from the first victim,” according to police.
County police believe the man struck up a conversation with a woman working in a shop along the 1800 block of N. Oak Street last Wednesday (Aug. 29), then “began touching himself inappropriately and exposed himself.” The area is home to businesses including a cafe, a Subway and a hair salon.
Police say the man fled the store before officers could make it to the scene.
County police claim that 37-year-old Durrell Carter of Arlington walked into the business around 1 p.m. last Wednesday (Aug. 22), when he began “exposing himself and masturbating.” The block where the incident occurred is home to a McDonald’s, a Dunkin Donuts and a car dealer, among other shops.
Carter is now charged with indecent exposure, possession of marijuana, identity theft and possession of a fake ID.
Fairfax County resident Santiago Rodriquez Campos, 34, has been charged with indecent exposure and sexual battery in connection to a Aug. 29, 2017 incident in which, according to police, he exposed himself to a woman and then brushed up against her.
Charges are also pending for a series of indecent exposure incidents in the Rosslyn and the Radnor-Fort Myer Heights area, according to ACPD. Police say the arrest was made by a regional fugitive task force and is the result of an “intensive investigation.”
