Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the region through 9:00 tonight.

Forecasters say that thunderstorms with high winds, torrential rains, dangerous lighting and large hail are possible tonight.

A flash flood watch is also in effect.

Wonder if it will be as bad as the huge thunderstorms yesterday that prompted the Nats mangement to cancel the game … at 1030am! What a joke. It didn’t rain until 9pm last night. Weak

  at 2 PM the rain on 14th Street bridge was incredible.
  these storms are so isolated it is crazy.
  almost like the rapture is coming or something.
