I told you via Twitter as well … a girl (young-ish looking) in handcuffs was put in the back of a Arlington squad car around the same time too.

oops, sorry. This was directly outside the mall on Wilson Blvd side

Oh it just gets klassier and klassier around here.

I’ll stay down here in South Arlington, where it’s safer. 😉

Welcome to the Urban Village !!

Yeah, all the yuppies in the high-priced condos bring lots of crime with them.

Forgive Foolish Consistency, though. He lives in his basement air-raid shelter and does not leave Fauquier County, as doing so may lead to bumping into the denizens of the so-called “Urban Villages”: young, white, highly-paid and highly-educated brown flip-flop wearing yuppies. It’s scary out there.

    Suspect of what?

I can’t even assume the bank robbery suspect, because if it were you would have updated that post a second time instead of making a new one.

    What is going on here?

  • Surprised

Wow, it looks like a mall security guard was useful, for once. Bravo to them.

I’m interested to see what happens to the two malls at Tysons once the metro starts bringing people out there. It seems to be the only one in the area where I don’t feel compelled to bring my AK-47 inside for protection.

The “update” is that a suspect (suspected of?) fled after “some sort of incident” and then got caught? I can’t imagine the level of the detail of the original story…

Do we have any additional information as of this morning?

    • Police aren’t releasing additional details until they put out their official crime report.

      • wat

        why report on this then?
You could put up a post like this nearly every day, it contains no information.

well if someone that lives in Ballston saw a bunch of police chasing someone through the street, they’d probably be curious to know if the person was caught or if they need to load up their over/under 12 gauge and guard the house.
