A mystery on Columbia Pike, from yesterday’s crime report:

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 07/14/11, 4300 block of Columbia Pike. On July 14 between 8:45 am and 10:30 am, an unknown subject entered an apartment and let the resident’s dog out. No items were taken and there is no suspect description.

    Clever.

As a dog owner, I guess I don’t find this all that funny. Did they ever find the dog?

    • Not 100% sure, but it would likely have been considered theft or another type of crime if they were not able to find the dog.

    Canines, perk up.
I figured out the door knob principle. Freedom from unreasonable confinement at last. Ah, dousing that fire hydrant was such mid-morning pleasure.
Next, figuring out the frig and can opening principles. Freedom to choose what and when to eat.
The animals on Animal Farm did all that, and more. We canines can as much, and train those two-legged creatures properly, too.
    Power to canines!

Maybe I was barking all day and night because you left me in there and a neighbor got sick of the noise and felt sorry for me too. Just sayin’.

They realize some dogs can open doors right?

ID theft. Used phone to imperspnate and access. Fraud may have been perpetrated by associares of rental office who will undoubtedly deny. So . . , the police will have likely provided more of your personal info to the criminals.
