Tivoli Gourmet & Pastry in Ballston has reopened after about two months of renovations.
The bakery above the Ballston Metro station at 901 N. Stuart Street returns with a simple, revamped interior design and new menu items alongside its usual breakfast offerings, assorted pastries and decorated cakes.
New items include mochi donuts, Korean corn dogs, and bubble tea made to order and served in a can.
The corn dogs come in a few different variations, including sausage and cheese and mozzarella. Tivoli’s bubble tea flavors are brown sugar, ube, Thai tea, milk tea, green tea and coffee.
Signs advertising Tivoli’s reopening also mentioned adding ice cream to the menu. Tivoli’s owner and manager were not available to provide additional information about the new offerings.
