Three arrested at Rosslyn Metro station after armed robbery at CVS

Three suspects were apprehended this morning after an armed robbery at a local CVS store.

The robbery happened around 6:45 a.m., at the CVS next to the Courthouse Metro station. Initial reports suggest one of the suspects pulled a knife on a CVS employee before fleeing with stolen items.

Orange Line trains were held as Arlington County and Metro Transit Police responded to the area. Three suspects were ultimately found on a train at the Rosslyn station and taken into custody.

No injuries were reported.

ACPD provided the following crime report about the incident Friday morning, noting that the incident was a coordinated attempt to steal “large storage bins of merchandise.”

ROBBERY, 2024-11140030, 2100 block of 15th Street N. At approximately 6:41 a.m. on November 14, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the three suspects coordinated the theft of three large storage bins of merchandise. An employee followed the suspects outside of the business, during which one of suspect displayed a knife. The suspects then fled the scene on foot into the metro. With the assistance of Metro Transit Police, the three suspects were taken into custody at the Rosslyn Metro and the stolen merchandise was recovered. While in custody, one suspect provided false personal identification information to officers. [Suspect 1], 31, of No Fixed Address was arrested and charged with Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Felony and Larceny with Intent to Sell. [Suspect 2], 48, of No Fixed Address was arrested and charged with Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Felony, Larceny with Intent to Sell and Giving False Identity to a Law Enforcement Officer. [Suspect 3], 33, of Washington DC was arrested and charged with Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Felony and Larceny with Intent to Sell.
