Colada Shop introduces pop-up holiday bar in Clarendon

A festive selection of cocktails and treats can be found at Clarendon’s Colada Shop through the end of the month.

The restaurant at 2811 Clarendon Blvd is spending its first winter at The Crossing Clarendon with twinkling decor and a Cuban-inspired seasonal menu.

‘Mo-Ho-Hojitos’ are on the menu

  • The restaurant is offering eight different holiday cocktails until Dec. 31.
  • Selections include a Candy Cane Colada, Churro Manhattan and Rum Cider.
  • The Mo-Ho-Hojito is served in a smiling, gingerbread man-shaped glass.

Seasonal offerings include ‘pie-nadas’ and holiday sliders

  • Cuban-inspired apple guava and pumpkin dulce de leche pies go for $34 each.
  • Other sweet treats: marshmallow hot chocolate, café con leche topped with a churro donut, and ‘pie-nada’ empanadas with pumpkin filling.
  • There are also savory options, like holiday ham pastelitos with roasted pineapple and Elena Ruz holiday sliders with cranberry hibiscus mostarda.

This is Colada Shop’s first holiday season in Arlington

  • Clarendon’s Colada Shop first opened its doors in March, as the business’ sixth D.C.-area location.
  • The restaurant also opened a Crystal City location back in September.
  • Colada Shop has several locations, but only two are hosting a Holiday Bar. The other Holiday Bar can be found at Colada Shop’s 14th Street location in D.C.
