A new high-rise Hilton hotel opened for business yesterday (Tuesday) in Rosslyn, bringing new events spaces and an American restaurant to the former Holiday Inn site.
Rooms start at $159 and spots in a parking garage are available for $45 per day.
The ground floor lobby has fireplaces, televisions and Pendant, a new bar. The hotel also offers a fitness center and electric vehicle charging.
Fourteen event spaces include ballrooms, dining rooms and meeting spaces totaling early 30,000 square feet. A highlight is The View, a top-floor events space for up to 400 people with panoramic views of D.C., Arlington and the Potomac River.
Locket and Scott’s Coffee are now open
Locket, the hotel’s “destination restaurant,” is open daily from 6 a.m.-11 p.m. and led by Metropolitan Hospitality Group, the same team behind Circa and Salt.
The menu features a raw bar, steakhouse-inspired dishes, Neapolitan pizzas and shareable small plates like Chesapeake crab dip. Brunch options include a smoked salmon plate, lobster eggs Benedict and Nutella french toast.
Scott’s Coffee Shop & Mart is also open 24/7 with self-checkout for grab-and-go foods and Starbucks coffee from 6 a.m.-8:30 p.m. daily.
It’s a ‘milestone’ for Hilton
The new hotel’s architecture, interior design and services reflect larger shifts coming to McLean-based Hilton Hotels & Resorts’ branding.
“This hotel marks a significant milestone for Hilton Hotels & Resorts as the first property to debut the brand’s refreshed identity, a modernized expression of Hilton, reflected through enhanced design and reimagined service touchpoints,” Hilton said in a release.
The hotel is part of a pair of buildings at The Key development, which replaces an 18-story Holiday Inn that was demolished in a controlled implosion in December 2020. The other project, a 28-story apartment building, began renting in April 2024.
