Timberland opens at Pentagon City mall amid a wave of incoming businesses

Timberland has opened a new store at the mall in Pentagon City, joining a lineup of recent and upcoming additions at the shopping center.

The shop opened last weekend on the mall’s second level with a “a full assortment of footwear, outerwear and accessories for men, women and kids,” including the brand’s popular leather boots. The opening comes as the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City is expected to welcome several new businesses over the next few months.

“This new addition reflects Fashion Centre at Pentagon City’s ongoing growth as a destination for premium and purpose-driven retail,” the mall said in a release.

Lacoste, others ‘coming soon’

  • On the Metro level, women’s clothing store Fashion Q replaced Forever 21 after that business filed for bankruptcy, and the Japanese-inspired arcade Gatcha expects to open sometime this fall.
  • More incoming retailers include Lacoste and accessories shop Tokyo Bae on the first level and perfume shop Perfumania on the Metro level, according to a list of stores “coming soon.”
  • Elsewhere, a Pop Mart toy store, which specializes in collectibles and branded products, is preparing to open next to the Lego Store.

Donuts, bubble tea coming to food court

  • Elsewhere in the mall, a new storefront for Duck Donuts has appeared next t0 Auntie Anne’s. The shop is now aiming for a November opening date.
  • Newcomer Moge Tee, a Chinese bubble tea shop, is “coming soon” next to Amorino Gelato.
  • Mediterranean eatery Mezeh and Indian fast-casual restaurant Bowl’d Masala, previously expected to open in August, remain underway.
