New taco spot ‘Eat More Taco’ to replace Grill Kabob in Ballston

A Ballston storefront will welcome a new dining tenant after a short vacancy.

A new restaurant called “Eat More Taco” is coming to 708 N. Glebe Road, replacing Grill Kabob after the latter’s closure in November.

Signage began appearing for the taco shop in the space’s windows last week, claiming that the restaurant will open “next month.”

The brand apparently comes from the same group that operated the former tenant, with public records listing the same family of owners for both companies.

Not much else is publicly known about the restaurant, including its menu or a specific opening date. A restaurant representative could not be reached for comment.

The forthcoming restaurant joins a deep slate of eateries offering Mexican or Latin cuisine in the neighborhood, including Uncle Julio’s, El Rey, Taco Bamba and others.
