A jewelry store billed as “a real-life Etsy shop by women entrepreneurs” is relocating from Maryland to Ballston.
Dov & Company is targeting a February opening on the first floor in Ballston Quarter (4238 Wilson Blvd), across from Drybar, according to signage posted in the mall.
The company is moving from its previous location in Montgomery County, Md., which closed on Dec. 30.
Founded by two sisters who reconnected during the pandemic, Dov & Company’s artisanal jewelry selection includes earrings, rings and necklaces, as well as a “charm bar” with more than 100 pendants for around $5 to $8 each.
The store also plans to sell numerous other products including self-care goods, artisanal soaps and candles.
“We are creating a space that celebrates inclusivity and diversity, bringing together high-quality, women-owned businesses that complement our jewelry and accessories,” the brand’s website reads.
The store has not announced a specific opening date, though interior renovations appear to be nearing completion.
