A new wellness studio and medical spa are getting close to opening at the former home of a longtime wine bar in Ballston.
Evexia Bio Studio is planning its opening in January at 4301 Wilson Blvd, the former Grand Cru Wine Bar and Bistro space. The space will be shared with an Evexia Medspa, which will be the company’s second location when it opens around the same time.
The studio will provide separate services in private suites. It will offer cold plunge, cryotherapy, contrast therapy, infrared sauna, halotherapy and red light therapy.
“Recovery, performance, and longevity should be part of your weekly routine, not something you have to travel for,” Noah Abraham, Evexia Bio Studio’s founder, said in a press release. “And it should feel private and elevated, not shared with a room full of strangers.”
Treatments are organized around two areas of focus. The recovery and performance category is designed to support circulation, physical recovery and readiness, while the cellular health and longevity category focuses on supporting cellular vitality, respiratory wellness and long-term restoration.
The med spa, meanwhile, advertises treatments such as Botox, dermal fillers, body contouring and laser skin treatments.
Evexia has been preparing to expand into Ballston since late 2025, replacing the wine bar and bistro that had occupied the space for almost two decades. The wellness business has another medical spa in McLean.
