Arlington students will have their winter breaks extended by at least one day.
Arlington Public Schools just announced that schools will be closed Monday due to the impending snowstorm.
Arlington joins Alexandria, Falls Church and other local districts in announcing a Monday closure well in advance.

CODE 1: Due to the Winter Storm Warning and winter weather forecasted for Arlington tomorrow, all APS schools and offices will be closed on Mon, Jan. 6, 2025. Unless otherwise directed by their supervisors, custodial and maintenance staff should report to work at their scheduled time. Extracurricular activities, games, team practices, field trips, adult education classes, and programs in schools and on school grounds are canceled.
