Adoptable Pet of the Week: Willow

Willow is a loving pup looking for an equally loving home.

According to Willow’s foster owner, she’s a six-year-old terrier/pit bull mix who’s been in foster care via the Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation for over a year.

“Willow is a sweet, affectionate soul who lives for love and attention,” Willow’s foster owner said. “She loves to greet her humans with hugs, kisses, and belly rubs. As her graceful roots indicate, she saunters on leash with minimal pulling, sniffing, and investigating her surroundings.”

She is friendly to other dogs, but is looking to be the sole dog in a home. Her foster family described her as a perfect low-to-medium energy pet who’s housebroken, doesn’t chew on things, and can be left alone uncrated while her owners are at work.

“Willow gets very excited when meeting new people, exemplified by going airborne, look out below!” Her foster family said. “Willow Grace knows basic commands like sit, stay, and paw, and is eager to please her humans, making her a perfect candidate for further training. She’s also happy to lounge on the couch to snuggle with you and her favorite stuffy.”

Potential adopters can apply at the Lost Dog Rescue website.
