Arlington’s largest free outdoor music festival is returning for its 33rd year this weekend at Rosslyn’s Gateway Park.
The 2025 Rosslyn Jazz Fest, run by the Rosslyn Business Improvement District (BID) and Arlington Arts, is scheduled for Saturday from 1-7 p.m. at 1300 Langston Blvd.
The festival has food trucks and outdoor bars with fare available for purchase, but it is free to attend. Tickets are available now.
This year’s headliner is Southern Avenue.
“Headlining this year’s festival is Grammy-nominated Southern Avenue, the high-voltage, Memphis-based group known for their electrifying blend of blues, soul, and gospel,” a release from the Rosslyn BID said. “The band brings its powerhouse vocals and genre-defying energy to the stage following its latest album, Family, on Alligator Records.”
The following groups will join Southern Avenue.
- D.C.-based Latin group Son Cubano Subterraneo
- Soulful siblings The Sensational Barnes Brothers
- New Orleans-style brass band New Breed Brass Band
NBC4’s Tommy McFly will emcee the event.
“We are excited to host Rosslyn Jazz Fest every year because music brings people together and strengthens community,” Rosslyn BID President Mary-Claire Burick said. “It’s a full afternoon of unforgettable performances, dancing, local food trucks, and activities for all ages — an experience that reflects the vibrancy and connection we enjoy in Rosslyn.”
